1. The world would be a lot friendlier
Most dogs are pretty confident when it comes to meeting new people. They love fuss, and are always excited to says hello to other dogs, and humans. So let's face it, the world would be a lot friendlier if we all greeted each other with a bum-sniff!
2. Dogs never hold a grudge
Dogs are happy little souls, and the love they have for us humans is unconditional. A dog would never be one to hold a grudge, towards anyone. Which in turn, would help fill the world with more happiness, calmness, and smiles. Good work dogs!
3. They appreciate the small things
Walkies, tennis balls, sticks! Dogs enjoy, and make the most of the smaller things in life. They know how to appreciate all the things us humans usually wouldn't find important, and can even turn what we think is our repetitive daily walk into a top doggy adventure.
4. There would be no more waste
Dogs have big appetites, if they could eat it, they would. If dogs were in charge, there would be no need to worry about unnecessary waste anymore, as the dogs would hoover it up... Some may think of this as being greedy, but we see it as an answer to our problems. If it can be eaten by a dog, it will be!
5. Dogs are extremely clever
In some ways (maybe most ways), dogs one-up us humans on the clever-scale. Their heads are firmly screwed on, and some of the pedantic things we overthink and worry about wouldn’t even cross their minds. Dogs can be trained to do many different tasks, and some have more skills than us mere humans could ever dream of.
6. Hate isn't in their vocabulary
This is where we all need to take a lesson from our four-legged friends. Love is all that dogs have, and want to give. Dogs don’t want to focus on all the bad things in the world, they would rather snuggle up with their best human friend, have an awesome time playing with a plastic bottle, or go for a nice walk in the woods.
7. Napping would become compulsory
Dogs sure do know how to relax... Don’t get me wrong, they can spend a lot of their day acting overly excited by someone ringing the doorbell, and running around the house and garden like a lunatic, but they still need a nap to re-charge their batteries – and we’re not going to argue with that!
8. They have powers of persuasion
Just look at that face. How could anyone ever say no? All dogs have the special super power ‘puppy-dog eyes’, and most dog owners will have experienced this sweet look. Most of us have also probably given in after being bowled over by the sheer cuteness. You couldn’t stay mad at that face, and oh don’t they know it.
9. A dog could save your life
Following on from their all-round cleverness, dogs can be trained up to do pretty much anything nowadays. Dogs make important members of the police force, lifeguards, assistance dogs, therapy dogs, and of course, seeing eye and hearing dogs. So you ought to appreciate them, as a dog could save your life one day.
10. They make the best best friends
Dogs are famously known to be man’s best friend, and we 100% agree with this. Life without a dog wouldn’t be the same, and we think the world would probably be a much better place if dogs were in charge – well, it would definitely be a hell of a lot friendlier anyway!
